I’ve always felt part of nature, felt close to it. Nature, and the people I love, are the two sustaining factors in my life. When I first imagined Running Deer, I couldn’t separate him out from his environment ... from nature ... from the misty forest. I hope that my books might bring you, too, closer to nature!
